01 Who or which company receives occupational medicine and occupational safety specialist training? institutions gives?
Public institutions and organizations authorized by the Ministry to provide training for occupational safety specialists, workplace physicians and other health personnel, universities and establishments established by companies operating in accordance with the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 dated 13/1/2011 can provide these trainings.
02 In which workplaces should a risk assessment be carried out?
As of 31/12/2012, risk assessment will be carried out in all workplaces, regardless of the number of employees and hazard class.
03 Who is covered by the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331?
It covers all jobs and workplaces belonging to the public and private sectors, employers and employer representatives of these workplaces, all employees including apprentices and interns.
04 How does the employer register and report work accidents and occupational diseases? does it?
Employer; notifies the Social Security Institution of work accidents within three working days after the accident and occupational diseases notified to him by the health service providers or occupational physician within three working days from the date of learning.
05 Where can I get a health report?
Health reports are obtained from the workplace physician who is in charge of the workplace health and safety unit or the common health and safety unit where service is received.
However; In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, workplaces that have not yet started to employ an occupational physician can receive these reports from public health service providers, as before the Law, until the relevant articles of the Law come into effect.
06 What is a safety report or major accident prevention policy document?
It is the report that should be prepared by the employer according to the size of the workplaces for workplaces where major industrial accidents may occur before starting the operation.
07 Instead of occupational health and safety services in small businesses What will the state support be?
Except for public institutions and organizations, workplaces with less than ten employees and in the very dangerous and dangerous class can benefit from government support. However, the Council of Ministers may decide that workplaces with less than ten employees can also benefit from workplaces in the less dangerous class.
08 In cases where the workplace registration code is not notified, How is the hazard class determined?
