ISO 45003:2021 PSYCHOSOCIAL RISK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CONSULTANCY

Workplace Welfare, Management of Psychosocial Risks

The 45003 document, as part of the Occupational Health and Safety management system, offers guidance on managing psychosocial risks and supporting workplace welfare. This document is meant to be used together with ISO 45001, which provides the requirements and guidance on the planning, application, evaluation and optimization of an OHS management system. Psychosocial risks are associated with the potential of hazards to cause negative effects on individual health, safety and welfare and corporate performance and sustainability. Management of psychosocial risks can lead to positive results including increased work satisfaction and increased productivity. Effective management of psychosocial risk can increase employee participation, productivity, innovation and boost corporate sustainability. The document at the same time contains information on crucial matters such as awareness of psychosocial risks, more competent management of psychosocial risks, support of affected and recovering employees and planning and intervention for emergencies. The success of psychosocial risk management depends on assurances from all levels of the organization, especially the top management.

As a result of the examinations made in the workplace, scenarios are determined and explosive environment calculations are made using TS EN 60079-10-1:2015 and TS EN 60079-10-2:2015 standards, dust explosion risks are evaluated, open and closed area explosion effects are evaluated and Danger Zone (Zone) maps are drawn.
